From the author’s note:
This collection of poems and images were created in the Cariboo Region of British Columbia, though my family is originally from Alberta. All the poems were written in a burst of about one year, after which I returned to fiction and non-fiction writing. Like a prairie cemetery, stumbled upon by accident as you wander the grassy hills, this moment of poetry and photographic imagery came and went. I leave it here in the dust for others to enjoy.
